Kapnos airport shuttle has extended its service to include buses from Paralimni, Protaras and Ayia Napa to Larnaca and Paphos airports on a daily basis, the company announced at a press conference on Wednesday.

The new service has already been running for a week, the company announced.

Head of the shuttle service Pampos Kapnos highlighted “significant developments” regarding passenger traffic. He said his company was at the forefront of these developments as it had been in 2008 when it launched its Nicosia to Larnaca airport connection and again in 2014 when it introduced its Nicosia and Larnaca to Paphos airport service.

Now Kapnos is taking another important step in the same direction, linking the Famagusta area to the island’s airports, he said.

The company’s new service operates in cooperation with Eman Travel Tours based in Nissi Avenue in Ayia Napa and in Pernera avenue in Protraras.

“As part of the effort to better serve the passenger community, our staff has undergone special training in road safety, professional behaviour and appearance,” Kapnos said.

He added that at the station in Nicosia, airline passengers also have the opportunity to check in quickly and easily before the scheduled departure time of their flight from a specially designed kiosk web check-in area.

“As part of upgrading the services to the travelling public, special modern luxury buses for disabled people have been included in the fleet of buses operating from and to the airports,” the director explained.

The service for persons in wheelchairs is run in coordination with airport operator Hermes and people will need to book in advance to arrange assistance from the spot where Kapnos buses stop at the airports.
