WORLD tourism is the one industry that does not seem to have been affected by the financial crisis. Tourist arrivals to various global destinations have grown steadily. Between the year 2000 and 2012 tourist arrivals to all destination experienced a 52 per cent growth. During the same period tourism to Cyprus has lost out.
